  MODE OF ACTION

  • Tegata is a unique combination having dual mode of action
  • It interferes with postsynaptic nicotinic acetyl choline receptors (nAChR agonists) site of the insect nervous system. Due to irreversible blockage of postsynaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors leads to the hyperexcitation of the nerves.
  • Simultaneously it affects the nervous system of an organism by disrupting the gating mechanism of sodium channels involved in the generation of nerve impulses. Delayed closing of the gate results in prolonged excitation of nerve fibers in insect pests
  • Hyperexcitation followed by convulsions and eventual paralysis of the insects.
  • This results the death of insects.

    METHOD & TIME OF APPLICATION

    • Foliar spray is recommended
    • Mix the recommended dose in or Tegata in a bucket half filled with water with agitation, add remain recommended quantity of water with continuous agitation
    • Spray uniformly for batter result
    • First spraying: 30 to 40 days after sowing or as soon as insects begin to appear (at economic threshold level)
    • Second spraying: 10 to 15 days after first spraying
